This app, called "Onkyo HF Player," is available as a free download version. However, to access all its features, you can purchase the paid version which offers support for family sharing. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase the "HD library" through an in-app purchase, which provides EQ and playlist capabilities.

With our app, you can have total control over the sound of your iTunes music. Our touch-adjustable linear-phase FIR equalizer allows for precise adjustments with 16,384 discrete bands of high-definition equalization. Rest assured that these adjustments do not result in any loss of audio quality. You can even create and save your own custom EQ presets or choose from optimized filters made by professional musicians.

If you want to take your music experience to the next level, you can upgrade to the HD Player Pack with our in-app purchase. This enables you to enjoy your 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Audio albums on the go. The HD Player Pack supports formats such as FLAC, WAV, and DSD, specifically enhanced for headphone use. It is fully compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Supported Formats:

Free Version (iPod Library): MP3/ALAC/AAC/WAV/AIFF (up to 48 kHz). DRM-protected files are not supported.

Paid Version (HD Library and iPod Library): Above formats plus DSF/DSD-IFF [DSD(2.8 MHz) / Double-rate DSD(5.6 MHz) / Quad-rate DSD(11.2 MHz), DoP / PCM conversion], FLAC/ALAC/WAV/AIFF (up to 384kHz), Ogg-Vorbis (up to 192 kHz). Note that MP3 is not supported in the HD Library. Devices with iPhone 5s or later are required for DSD 11.2 MHz and above.

Release Notes:

• Upgrade to HD Player Pack via in-app purchase to experience 192 kHz/24-bit high-resolution FLAC, WAV, and DSD playback
• Hi-Res Audio files can be output to the Onkyo DAC-HA200 headphone amplifier via Lightning cable and to other compatible USB DACs using a Lighting-USB camera adapter or the iPad Camera Connection Kit
• Supports DSD-to-PCM conversion and DoP output
• You can transfer audio formats including FLAC and DSD to your device through the iTunes Apps menu on your personal computer
• Note that smooth operation may be compromised on older devices (iPhone 4 and below) when in HD Equalizer Mode due to high processing demands. Audio with a sampling rate exceeding 88.2 kHz, output via the device’s headphone connection, is downsampled to 48 kHz. Furthermore, equalizer and crossfade functions are disabled when playing audio via DoP, and the frequency response is not displayed
